Alois Society donors support the Association's goals and objectives through significant annual contributions to enrich and expand the Association's work in family services, education, research, advocacy, and program development. Gifts may be made as an annual outright minimum contribution of $1,000 in cash, securities, or through a signed pledge or letter of intent to make a gift within 12 months.

The society is named for Dr. Alois Alzheimer who was responsible for identifying the tangled structures now recognized as markers of the devastating brain disease in 1906.  It took almost 60 years before further research shed new light on the disease.  Over just the past 15 years, we have seen Alzheimer's research move from hopeless to hopeful.

Alois Society Membership (annual donations: $1,000 +)

  • Recognition in Alzheimer's Association publications
  • Listing on the Donor Wall
  • Invitations to exclusive educational and social gatherings in private homes or special venues
  • Invitation to Meet the Scientist, featuring a researcher supported by the Association
